About Dr. Tina Mistry

I was first drawn into psychology by a desire to understand

After working in the NHS, non-profit, education, and private sectors, I started Brown Psychologist in early 2019, in order to provide a space for South Asian women, specifically South Asian mothers and mothers-to-be.

Over time, this evolved into also supporting South Asian therapists, through the Brown Therapist Network.

I have a specialist interest in working with trauma, including PTSD, developmental and intergenerational trauma.

I am registered with Health & Care Professions Council. See my registration here
